This cabin was amazing with a great view. When we arrived the hot tub was broken apparently right before got there. I called to ask about it and was informed of the need for repairs. That was one of the main reasons we booked it. The manager saved the day and and gave us another cabin maybe 800yds away from this one that seemed to be brand new, according to the guest book we were the second people to stay there. All around around great property and amenities the grounds keeper came by each morning and feed the deer and filled the bird feeders so you will have plenty of wildlife to see both day and night. It is located about 10m from Main Street fredricksburg so it’s a short drive to anything you want to see or do. We will definitely stay there again.

This cabin was just a couple minutes outside of town and was in a nice quiet area. It had a beautiful view from the back porch. We saw over 20 deer while staying here! The privacy and hot tub added to the relaxation of the cabin.

Perfect little escape. We have been enjoying this little place for years. It's just far enough away from Fredericksburg that we can enjoy it by day and then relax by night in the hot tub out back. There is a full kitchen available to cook or warm things up. We've never been disappointed with our weekend getaway.Just fyi Mondays quite a few of the stores are closed.

The Appian Way Oliva Cottage is a small, well organized cottage in a secluded area. The hot tub was great and the deer were pretty cool. There are a couple of drawbacks to the cottage, notably no counter space for food prep and a table slightly larger than a dinner plate. The outdoor grill has seen better days, but was serviceable.

This was a last minute "get out of town" for my husband and myself. Place was clean, quiet & easy enough to find. Perfect for just the 2 of us. Our only recommendation would be the bed...not super comfortable. Time to replace the mattress for sure.

My husband and I have stayed at this cottage for 2 years in a row now to celebrate our anniversary. It is a lovely, quiet, secluded cottage with beautiful views of wildlife and a “homey” atmosphere. We had a wonderful time enjoying the scenery, and watching the wildlife everyday! The deer are very entertaining sometimes lol. The hot tub was awesome and very relaxing. The cottage is in a perfect location, not too far out of town, but definitely far enough. It’s secluded for privacy so that is a plus!! I would say the bed should be replaced, it wasn’t comfortable, but all in all we had a great stay and will definitely be back! The Lone Star grill, and Catfish Haven were some of our favorites to eat at. And Andy’s on Washington St was really great for breakfast!

We really enjoyed our stay the bed was a little uncomfortable and my husband cut his toe on glass in the hot tub, but over all we loved our stay and will definitely visit again.
The location was peaceful, relaxing, private, and just minutes away from Main Street Fredericksburg, local wineries and great food. Our mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee, views of the hills and deer was just what we needed to relax from big city life. After a long day of shopping and walking, we got to return to our cottage to a hot tub. Can’t wait to come back.
