My wife and I came to Fredericksburg for the weekend and really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage! It was so nice to sit on the porch and watch the wildlife! The deer were so pretty with their babies! Hummingbirds were so funny fighting each other for the feeder! We will definitely be coming back to stay at this beautiful place.

Everything was great we have no complaints. The cottage was clean everything worked as it Should. We would love to come back.

This was my third time staying here. There are signs of aging. The concrete bench at the outside table was broken. The bathroom ceiling right outside the shower is delaminating as a result of moisture. It seems the cleaning company may have changed as the house's HVAC and exhaust vents need to be cleaned as well as having the spider webs removed from the intersection of the ceiling and main beam. On the amenity front, I was left with 1 pouch of coffee for a 4 day stay; a Keurig would be a nice addition. Finally, there have been additional properties added in fairly close proximity to Celtic Cottage, so, if your neighbor decides to leave their back porch light on all night, you are going to lose your view of the stars. Kind of sad this wasn't taken into consideration when planning the new rentals. This property has definitely lost some of its attraction since it now feels like you are staying in the city. It simply doesn't offer the seclusion it once did. I am honestly not sure I would come back unless a privacy hedge was installed similar to the other side of Celtic Cottage.

A great escape! This cabin is perfect for the hill country. My girlfriend and I enjoyed all that Fredricksburg had to offer and able to scoot out of town for private sunsets and sunrises. Cozy, clean and affordable. There is no Wi-Fi, though could be now if they figured out the password. 9/10!

What a great rental experience! I especially enjoyed surprising my mom for her 70th birthday with a stay at the Celtic Cottage. We were joined on the patio with deer, had an amazing hot tub, and the property was so clean and inviting! We are looking forward to coming back!

We are repeat customers. The cabin was clean but was lacking in coffee mugs, and wine glasses (in wine country). We had no hangers in closet and only 1 small bar of soap to share for several nights. Housekeeping was prompt in providing hangers and a clean sponge for kitchen use. Primary issue is with the management company which should have informed us that there were construction crews working next door to our cabin upon making our reservations directly through them. We would have stayed in a different cabin having been there before. I stated I wanted privacy and quiet relaxation. Also, management was unable to send an E-Sig contract that I could sign due to their software. I emailed back an acknowledgment of receipt and review. Manager emailed back saying I would sign contract when getting the key at check in. Office person was unaware of any contract left for me to sign. Assumed my email acknowledgement was sufficient after all. Recently discovered property management has been emailing a contract for me to sign long after my checkout in December. Property left in immaculate condition with no follow up from anyone except wanting a post-visit signature on a contract long after the fact. Owners have a great location and we would come back again but would not recommend this cabin at present due to the construction next door. Otherwise, cabin comfort was fine along with the spa but our privacy and scheduling our time there was hampered by construction crews in the immediate area. When mentioned to the manager, she said sorry 'bout that and I'll let the owner know and again no contract offered to be signed in person. Understanding my concern of the construction crews next door, we were not offered a different cabin or other accommodation or consideration for the full price of the reservation, especially given my request for a quiet cabin with privacy booking and mentioning our disapointment over the construction and work crews.

the cottage was exactly as described. Very peaceful and secluded.

Spent a few days at property for wife’s birthday. Have stayed at this property 2 times previous. Always a great time with the feeling of being out in the country with the silence of the night and the abundance of deer . Only disappointment was not having bikes on property that were available on the previous stays.

We rented this cabin because it had a hot tub but were told upon check-in that it did not work. We were able to get out of staying there a second night with a refund but it would have been nice to know about it sooner so that we could make other arrangements. I am going to check the "recommend" box but I would ask first to make sure everything is functioning before checking in.

It was okay, but there was construction going on right next door that started EARLY Saturday and continued all weekend. You would think that construction wouldn't happen on the weekend when people are renting these cabins, but that's not the case.

Awesome Stay , staff was unbelievably nice and very intentional to make our stay the very best possible. The Celtic is a very nice ,quaint , simple getaway spot close to the square for easy access. We will definitely be back!

Nice cottage on a great piece of property. You are pretty much alone, but you can see other homes. Pretty quiet. Great walking. Hot tub was wonderful, comfy bed.

it was a great rental...great location, great staff, super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay there again! I only had two small very fixable issues. 1. The register located above the bathroom door is broken and rattled loudly every time the A/C kicked. We had a hard time staying asleep. 2. Although not used significantly, the tv small and hard to see when sitting up against the headboard. Like I said, two small issues.

We loved our stay. The full kitchen is a huge bonus! We had deer every evening and morning right outside the cottage. The hot tub was clean and worked great. The bikes were a fun addition too!

The bed and pillows were not the most comfortable so if you are picky you might bring your own pillow. While the shower was spacious, the rain shower head wasn't our favorite, and because there is no shower door, it's hard not to get water outside the shower! But those things did not ruin our stay by any means.

We definitely recommend the Celtic Cottage.
