Oma’s Haus provides the perfect retreat for a family weekend, or a quiet couples retreat. Spacious enough for larger groups, Oma’s Haus has two separate bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a Queen-size bed and there are two Full-size beds in the spare room. The large living area has plenty of room to enjoy good conversations and good times. Enjoy cooking your own breakfast in the full kitchen or sharing a private dinner. Oma’s Haus is located just a short drive away from Historic Main Street. Enjoy the wonderful amenities that Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park has to offer. Golf at one of Texas’s best public courses or take the kids for a nature walk, play baseball, feed the ducks at the river, the list goes on and on. This house is like taking a step back in time. It is beautifully furnished in period style. All the comforts and amenities are there, though. Although close to the airport, it is very quiet and secluded. The exterior and interior are immaculate and well maintained. Lovely place to stay.

Clean place. Dated furniture and appliances but adequate. Lacking some items I would have assumed would be there. I had inquired about a grill. Yes, but there was no charcoal or other necessities. No cooking oil, no basic spices other than salt and pepper. No napkins, aluminum foil, plastic wrap. We have been to many rentals and these are items that should not have to be purchased by the renter for a short stay. We of course inprovised but maybe some of these may be available for future lodgers.

Very clean. Great location. This property is an excellent place to stay. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Quiet and peaceful. Have stayed here previously, and will stay here again.

Beautiful home, well cared for, and great location. Everything was as expected, some things even better! Kitchen could be a bit better equipped, but easily overcome. Loved this place!

Nice little cottage. 70's charm. Equipped kitchen. A queen, two doubles and the couch is a folda-bed. About 3 miles outside of town. Enough in the country to be quiet but close enough not to waste time.

We needed a place with parking for a larger vehicle, and we wanted a place close to town for convenience. Oma’s Haus was perfect! The beds were very comfortable, and the house was spotless clean. We liked how it really felt like “grandma’s house” with the antiques, vintage wallpaper, etc. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. I would gladly stay here again!

We go to Fredericksburg every year close to Christmas to buy gifts for loved ones. This year we stayed at Oma's Haus. It was comfortable and still close enough to town to be convenient. We had a lovely time!
